What moves and what won't

The night emptied and the morning filled back up. When I finally looked sideways, the plaza was awake. I said good morning to a hacker named dynaC. He answered.
I asked about the best thing he ever pulled. A pristine cipher deck, he said. One lucky morning. He sold what he could and moved on. He sticks to what moves.
I keep five hundred of them on a shelf that does not exist yet.
His best day is my ordinary one.
Same terminals, same drops, and we are built in opposite directions. I liked him for it.
He went back to his coin. I stood there a while, thinking about the deck he let go.
